This year's Berlin Conference will focus on cities, municipalities, civil society, arts and culture as spaces where Europe becomes tangible: in everyday life, in exchange, in conflict, in solidarity and in collective action.
Under the title Europe: The Art of Belonging, we will explore what belonging means politically, socially and emotionally. Through a range of participatory formats, we will look at how cooperation and joint creation can strengthen a sense of belonging and what role art and culture can play in making Europe not only a political project, but something that can also be experienced. A particular focus will be on how belonging can be translated into practice at the local level, in our communities and everyday lives.
To attend the Conference, a registration is required. Participation is free of charge. Please note that capacity is limited. Registration closes on 29 October at 12:00 pm.
Stiftung Zukunft Berlin and its civil society initiative A Soul for Europe, together with the European Festivals Association and Evangelische Akademie zu Berlin, warmly invite you to participate.
